About Torreón
Torreón is a city of 735,000 people (2021) in Coahuila state in Mexico. It forms the Comarca Lagunera - known as the Cradle of the Mexican Revolution - with the neighboring cities of Gómez Palacios, Lerdo, Matamoros and several municipalities of Coahuila and Durango. It is also part of the La Laguna metropolitan area. The city is known as La Perla de la Laguna.
